Cancer patients often have weak or exhausted T cells after prior treatment. This is a deep-rooted weakness in any modality that relies on patient T cells to function, such as autologous CAR T, T cell engagers/other bispecifics, and in vivo CAR. We believe a healthy donor-derived allogeneic T cell is the right chassis to start with.

Category-defining Allo T Cell Products for Cancer
Our allo platform organically integrates two modalities, T cell therapy and T cell engager (TCE), combining the durability of cell therapy with the flexibility of TCE. Unlike allo CAR T, our approach avoids costly and risky genome editing and does not require CAR engineering. The manufacturing is as straightforward as autologous CAR T and is fully scalable with donor T cells as the starting material. Our allo T cell products kill cancer directly and indirectly by engaging the endogenous immune system.

We have one lead asset (IBT1116) at the IND-enabling stage, targeting refractory and relapsed B cell malignancies and CD19+ CAR T relapse.
